Why would people have kids in this situation?
for example, in small villages there are diseases and lack of medical supplies and help. many people die at a young age.
so why would they keep having kids when they cannot provide for them?

Becuase they can’t afford birth control or its not avaiable?

They don’t have birth control either but they still have sexual desires just like any other human. Sorry, but they probably don’t want to bring children into the world in some of those cases…it just happens. Sometimes I suppose it is rape.

Sex is the only thing they can do for fun, but they are too ignorant or poor to use proper birth control.

if they lack in medical supplies they wont have access to contraception and they probably have not been educated.

Because those people are not highy educated, and literally do not understand what hardships they are causing themselves. They are illiterate third world villiagers.

I believe that children represent hope and love. I believe that there are ways to be healthy that preclude the Western Medical Model– i.e., hospitals, pharmaceuticals, etc. Have you heard the saying, “The rich get richer and the poor get children?” I believe that there is a God-given biological drive to produce children. I don’t believe that reproduction is something that lends itself well to government interventions. I also remember having young children when I went to University a few decades ago and having some whipper-snapper from the States suggest that there was no place in a University campus for young children– that I should have had my babies AFTER I got my University degree, not before. That gave me a taste of the sort of tyrrany that exists around reproductive issues.
all the best!

Small villages have no social security. No old age pension.
When you get to old to work if someone doesn’t get food for you you starve to death. In an effort to have two living children to take care of you in your old age you need someone to live. So since most die out of 8 or 9 maybe two makes it to adult hood.
Babies births are not even recorded. That is why the big fuss to Africans was strange, giving a baby away is common.
If you can get someone else to raise it to adult hood but they know you are their parents they got it made.
that is why the policy in China didn’t work. They need children to support them in old age. If they got some form of social security they would be happy to only have one child.
That way those who can work do and support those who can’t work. Now if you can’t work you starve to death.
