Whats a good organization to volunteer with? What kind of volunteering should I do and where?

medical supply
sb11 asked:

I am a female in my first year of undergrad. I plan to go into medical school to be a doctor. I want to volunteer in the summer for two months in another country. I want to volunteer doing something that would be most closely related to medicine. Like something like help distribute medical supplies or something. I was wanting to go to Africa, but my parents are worried about all the war struck areas and various other things.

it would be nice to be a candy striper they are volunteers who visit the people admitted in the hospitals they dont do anything medical but they help the ill people walk around, play with the children, and have someone to talk to when no one is around i think that candy stripers are wonderful people cause i was in the hospital when i was a child and the candy stripers came to my room and i thought they were a blessing

You can try MSF. They’re doing a lot of work related to medicine.
