Just to be there to make his dad proud, and if he goofed up have his dad pull some strings.

He flew an A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft. He dropped bombs on targets. McCain was not a great pilot. He missed his targets more then he hit them. Innocent people got killed because of his lack of skill.
