My Little 12 year old sister was just diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes and was hospitalized. She will have to take Insulin several times a day for the rest of her life. The Medical supplies and bills are already adding up and my parents are already struggling. I have no idea what steps to take to do this for them. Please Help!

I would first look for a facility that would be willing to donate their accommodations. Then you might call around to different restaurants or grocery stores, explaining the situation, and ask if they’d be interested in donating food/other supplies such as napkins, paper plates, etc. You would need to have publicity so you may contact your local newspaper about putting an ad in there; you can also make up flyers and post them in public places such as supermarkets or other places with “Community News” postings. Then you’ll need volunteers (friends, family) to help you with the dinner. I commend you for doing this to help your sister. I wish you and her the best!
