What is the expiration time of a medical card on the day of its expiration?

I have a CDL from the state of California, and my medical card expired on 11-30-2009. My employer did not let me work, because they said that my medical card expired at 12:01 am on 11-30-2009. Can you please tell me what is the expiration time on my medical card, even though the card only states the expiration date.

It is no longer valid after 23:59:59 on 11/29. Your company was correct. daddyrx
