Bawn Nyntyn Aytetu asked:

I just heard about a case where a highschool girl in the US had a condition diagnosed by medical doctors that supplied her with paperwork to approve her use of smoking cigarettes in school, and I was wondering if anyone had heard of this case, and if there is any link you can provide that I can refer to regarding the condition she had and why she needed cigarettes for her very survival. Anyone?

yeh i heard about that it was in the paper today.

but i thought it was a school girl in australia and i heard that she was just addicted. (check out sunday telegraph) im a smoker so you can say it is because of stress. sometimes when you dont have a ciggarette if you are addicted and you have something stressful happening then you need it to calm down, otherwise you can lose control of your nerves. its happened to me.

but from what i read the doctor believe because she was addicted that she should be allowed to have smoke on breaks.

is this the story you are referring to? besides stress i dont know any other medical disease besides addiction that could cause a doctor to permit that. peeping_ur_tom
