    WW2 Off white or khaki.

Khaki parachutes were used for daylight jumps and white parachutes for night jumps. At night a white parachute looks transparent from the ground.
Ammo and weapons were carried by the parachutist in a weapons container and all supplies were dropped in large Army containers of a dark green colour.
