What are the steps involved in submitting medical literature to a reputed medical journal?

I am a medical student and i am interested in submitting a very atypical case to a medical journal but dont know how to go about it. So can someone tell me or refer me to a site where i can be told.

Usually the journal will have their requirements posted within the publication. Some will even have a form online that you fill out, attach your case, and submit. If not, you can email or call the editorial manager of the journal and ask. Ned
