Taking contact lens saline in cabin bag?

medical supply
crosbie asked:

I’m flying from Dublin to London soon taking just a cabin bag. The smallest contact lens saline I can get is 120ml. I can’t decant it because then it wouldn’t be sterile. Will I get through declaring it as “medical supplies” or should I buy one when I arrive and ditch it before returning (goes against the grain as they’re not cheap)?

Just wondering if anyone else has experience of this. Thanks.
