I think I am pregnant again! Wasn’t expecting to be so soon!(and yes I did get birth control, but this isn’t the first time it didn’t work for me) My baby is only 7 weeks old and I am exclusivly breastfeeding. I have been having some pregnancy symptoms but it’s still to early to test. I did already have a period ( which I had a medical professional confirm because I didn’t think that was possible so soon) so I could definitely be pregnant. Problem is my milk supply has dramatically decreased the last 2 or 3 days and the baby is hungry all the time. Could this be from pregnancy? If so is there anything I can do to get it up? IF I am pregnant will I have to switch to formula? Thanks for the help!

How do I dry up my breast milk supply?

Originally, I chose to breastfeed but am unable to continue for medical reasons. Now my breasts are sore and sometimes feel full but I have been told by friends and family not to pump. I have heard that binding or wearing a tight bra helps, but I found that medical professionals advise against this. I also cannot use cabbage leaves because I’m allergic to sulfa. Am I at risk for mastitis? Please do not answer just to tell me that I really should breastfeed; I sure would if I could!
My son (my first child) is only 2 1/2 weeks old. I tried breastfeeding on and off since his birth and finally quit 3 days ago. Thank you!
