Why does the media condemn Israel for closing its borders to Hamas filled Gaza, but says nothing about Egypt?

It boggles my mind. I was watching a news story about Tony Blair and his ambassador role for the quartet. The reference point of the story became the non-existant economy of Gaza and blame was placed on Israel for closing its borders, not the terrorist groups in Gaza that continually attack civilians. The Gaza strip also shares borders with Egypt, but their closed borders never make the nightly news. Why doesn’t Egypt share the “responsibility” for the diminishing terrorist economy of Gaza since it could open its borders without worry of being attacked? The strange thing is that Israel has tried to bring food, diapers and medical supplies into Gaza but at different times has been disallowed by the Hamas leadership. With Israel trying to offer humanitarian aide to its enemies and Egypt’s borders closed as well, I am baffled by the incessant media stories that talk about the collapsing economy of Gaza and it being Israel’s fault and not discussing other viable options. Thoughts?
