Why does the media condemn Israel for closing its borders to Hamas filled Gaza, but says nothing about Egypt?

It boggles my mind. I was watching a news story about Tony Blair and his ambassador role for the quartet. The reference point of the story became the non-existant economy of Gaza and blame was placed on Israel for closing its borders, not the terrorist groups in Gaza that continually attack civilians. The Gaza strip also shares borders with Egypt, but their closed borders never make the nightly news. Why doesn’t Egypt share the “responsibility” for the diminishing terrorist economy of Gaza since it could open its borders without worry of being attacked? The strange thing is that Israel has tried to bring food, diapers and medical supplies into Gaza but at different times has been disallowed by the Hamas leadership. With Israel trying to offer humanitarian aide to its enemies and Egypt’s borders closed as well, I am baffled by the incessant media stories that talk about the collapsing economy of Gaza and it being Israel’s fault and not discussing other viable options. Thoughts?

Why is Israel stealing relief supplies from the poor? Don’t U.S. taxpayers give them enough $billions?

LoveYa! asked:

On June 30, the government of Israel committed an act of piracy when the Israeli Navy in international waters illegally boarded the “Spirit of Humanity,” kidnapped its 21-person crew from 11 countries, and confiscated the cargo of medical supplies, olive trees, reconstruction materials, and toys for Palestinian children.

What do you think Israel did with the toys?

Is it okay to send medical supplies to Gaza?

Surely even the most staunch supporters of Israel can see no problems with that, right?

Then why did Israel block 2,000 tons of food, medical supplies, and clothing?

Harry: either you let the medical supplies in and let everyone use them, or you stifle every man, woman, and child. Obviously you preserve human life.
