halfbloodprincess asked: The adjustor for the at fault person is asking for a release on my medical records. I don’t really want to hand him my records that he can go snooping in. I don’t have anything to hide, I just don’t think that it’s any of his business.
What am I required to give him?
Can I have my Doctor release information post-accident, and sign off that there were no pre-existing conditions?

Coqui asked: I want to stay home for more than 6 weeks, but I only had a vaginal delivery. Aside from exhaustion and a labor-induced, very uncomfortable hemorrhoid, I have no medical issue. Would that be enough of a reason for my doctor not to release me?
Also, would that be a major enough medical reason for my short term disability insurance to continue paying me for the additional two weeks?

Daniel B asked: I came into my work today and saw that a large shelving unit was installed directly over my desk. I do not feel very safe knowing there will be hundreds of pounds of storage sitting over my head. My boss said that the company is insured so there is no need to worry about it. but I do not have health insurance and I think if something were to happen I would be liable for my medical bills.

Lemanski’s Ghost asked:
The problem with rising medical costs seems to be the consumer only pays a dollar for every five dollar increase when they have insurance. Why not bring free market supply and demand back where people won’t go to doctors who charge more than their services are worth?

My mother in law is here in Japan on a short term visa(3 months). She had sprained her hand in India while coming here and is bothering her a lot. We heard that it would be very costly in the hospitals without medical insurance. As she might need to take xray and other medicines. We would like to know how we can take medical insurance for foreign nationals on short term visa in Japan. I thank u in advance for answering my query.

Eric D asked:
My 1 year old daughter has been wheezing a lot lately and the doctor prescribed her proventil (an inhaler) and a spacer with a mask to deliver the puffs (since she is incapable of following instructions to use a regular inhaler). Insurance wouldn’t cover the spacer, so I ended up paying $71.99 for it at CVS. Then, when I got home, I looked up the spacer online and found it for sale widespread for $28! It seems like the pharmacy has price gouged here, did they not? After all, people tend to go to pharmacies for these types of things when they have an urgent or emergency situation. Why not jack up the price 3x the normal amount? I’m angry right now, is there anything I can do?

these include having the baby (when you are in labor, not all the stuff before), baby vitamins, doctor visits (checkups every 3 months and an average of 4 sick visits per year), health insurance, and OTC medicines.

twist11 asked:
Do they seriously look thoroughly through all your medical records…? How would they even get them? Only if you supplied the doctors name and insurance right? And is the physical you get just a regular physical like you get at the doctors? I Want some honest answers.
First of all I never said I was going to lie and you didn’t answer my question at all..
