What is the difference between a medical retirement and a medical discharge from the Army?

Do to some previous medical issues that I had years ago, I might be limited in MOS’s. My recruiter suggested that I try supply because I would still have have an opportunity to travel. I originally wanted to do Psyops or something out in the field that allowed women to be airborne. Can anyone give more clarification about a supply MOS and any feedback?
