Audra Owens asked: I’m currently going to a technical community college for Radiology, but I haven’t got into clinical. I love x-rays and MRIs and CT scans but at the same time I’m interested in something with more variety like nursing or physicians assistant. I’m also interested in being involved in surgery and also being a medical examiner. Are there any fields you would recommend or any fields you think I would enjoy?

Teresa asked: When you apply for a job they usually ask if there is a medical condition that may affect your ability to do the job. I have epilepsy and if I have a seizure I may have to take time off for recovery. Should I disclose that on an application? It doesn’t directly affect my ability to do the job, but it can affect my attendance.

Jenny asked: What is the best reason to go to medical school? Sometimes, I am attracted to the prospect of attending medical school . . . simply because of the social prestige, job security, and high salary associated with the profession. Is this a good reason to attend medical school?

ben asked: I play tennis for at least 4 hours a day and have really bad calluses on my hands. If I keep playing at this rate without anything on my hands, I’m gonna start getting blisters. I tried some just regular Johnson and Johnson medical tape today, but it came off in about 20 minutes because my hands were sweaty. What kind of medical tape will not fall off when my hands get sweaty? Thanks.

Amy asked: Do you have any suggestions? There are a lot of screens in medical billing software and I would like to buy a book that shows me what to do with every one of them. Should I buy a book that tells how to use a specific kind of medical billing software like Medical Manager or are there books available that tell what to enter into each screen of any kind of medical billing software. Most programs like Medical Mastermind and Medical Manager are similar.

. asked: I want to eat at least 12 carrots a day, and drink at least 3 cups of carrot juice a day, for a period of one year. This is an experiment to see how it makes me feel. I know from past experience with eating this amount of carrots that it will give me carotenosis.
So, would I be more likely to develop a medical problem if I have carotenosis for a year or longer?

Veronica Constans asked: I have a 30 minute dental surgery tomorrow where they are taking out two baby teeth. I have a little bit of a cold (98.8-100.5 fever). If I am still sick tomorrow, would it be a medical problem for me to do the surgery? I can handle a little discomfort, but would my cold and the medicine clash? Thank you!

And if sweating release toxins, how does body release them during winters.
But how come some people sweat more than others? Is it a medical problem?
