what is a good scientist/doctor that has contributed to the medical world for example was the first to fully Develop a way to safely perform a heart transplant or one that had discovered things on the brain or lungs. Also they have to be one that has a good history like biographies, articles, mentioned in books, or mentioned in the world of medicine.

    Sir Magdi Habib Yacoub and Egyptian cardiac surgeon. He was a pioneer of the arterial switch which is used world wide now for the treatment of certain congential heart defects in children and infants.
    Dr. Orvan Walter Hess he was the first physician to use penicillin successfully in treatment as well as created the fetal heart monitor and of course Dr. Christiaan Neethling Barnard who was the first surgeon to successfully perform a human to human heart transplant.

    Victor McCusick MD medical geneticist, the first one. Was very influential is evaluating “little people”.
