But then I am not a Dalit ! Our leaders ( leaders of the vocal minority) tend to focus on emotive appeal and promising colour TVs , self respect, past glory, caste kinship and so on, their followers - their lambs- deify them and follow without thinking. There is no difference between our leaders and the mullahs who promise 77 virgins to the terrorists on death as per the Mullah's directions. Finally they may find that they have been duped with a 77 year old rather than 77 in number. Don't think about our country. It will carry on as it has done for the past umpteen and odd centuries. we are only keeping alive our tradition I agree! But then I am not a Dalit !
