Is there a place where I can donate medical supplies?

medical supply
MadameZ asked:

My mother recently passed away and now I have to donate or dispose of her diabetic machines and supplies, numerous syringes, adult diapers, and other such items. I would love to be able to donate these items to a worthwhile charity. If not, I need to dispose of them but need to know how to do this as well. I mean, one shouldn’t just throw insulin syringes in the trash.

check with your church, there may be some one there that may be able to use some of the things form you later mother, I know that it is hard to find places to give a lot of things like that to, my husband passed away 2yrs ago and I just found a person here that by asking around was able to use all of his diabetic supplies and meters, don’t give up, the heavens will put you in the right place at the right time to help when the time is right.

There is usually a free clinic for low income in most towns. Try that. They always need donations. And it will help the community that can’t afford to help themselves. So sorry about your mother. That is really rough.
