My daughter turns 18 next month, do you know what the age limit is, or does it vary from different insurers? This is company supplied insurance which I pay monthly premiums.

Typically, most insurance companies will insure a child up until their 19th birthday. However, some insurance companies will cover your child if they go to college, as long as proof is provided to the insurance provider. Typically, the insurance provider will request proof with every new semester.

It varies with different insurance companies, AND, can vary based on what state you are in.

It also matters, if she’s a full time student or not.

You’ll have to call the number on the back of your card to find the answer for your situation.

Each state’s law mandates the maximum age at which a dependent child will be allowed to continue on their parents plan. Recent legislation in my state, CT, changed the age to 26, regardless of student status. Restrictions apply.

Since none of us have sufficient information to answer your question, I suggest you contact the HR department at your employer and ask them what the applicable age is for you and your family.

It varies. Consult your specific insurance plan.

If the child is still in school (high school or college/technical school) and live in the same home as you do they can remain on your policy till they are 21 or 22 typically.

It varies by insurance and employer. Some employers cover dependent children until the end of the calendar year they turn 19 years old. Some cover until 30 days after they’re 18, unless a documented full-time student.

Check with your HR person or member services at your insurance company to avoid ugly surprises.

That depends on the particular insurance coverage and the state you are in. The other angle you may want to consider is if there is still a real need for your daughter to be insured when she turns 18. Practical questions like - is she already earning that much to merit ensuring her, just in case? The premium you will be paying may actually be better spent on her college education.
