I live in southern Ontario, and we only have one MRI machine in 3 counties. Hardly a surplus. Our government chose to go socialized medicine 40 years ago, and it costs us dearly in our taxes. We are basically a free enterprise nation, and the government screws it up everytime. It is great coming out of the hospital with no Dr. bills, and low med costs, but we pay for it dearly on a daily basis.
