Doctors/Backpackers - what medical supplies for international backpacking?

medical supply
Jad S asked:

Can someone tell me what individual items I’d need in my medical supply kit for travelling to Japan, India and North/South America. I know I’ll need things like clean syringes any other suggestions?

Ibuprofen, immodium, insect repellent and antiseptic cream. That should do the trick nicely! Enjoy your travels, you lucky thing you!

Make sure you have any jabs that you need and things like your tetanus jabs are up to date. I always carry painkillers, anti-histamines, bite cream/antiseptic cream, plasters, gel tube things for blisters on my toes, a couple of antiseptic wipes, multivitamins, immodium, insect repellant and any personal meds like inhalers etc.
