You should quote the Freedom of Information Act. Under it, your doctor, or anyone else, in response to a request from you in writing must produce what you are asking for within 40 days. There may be a small charge of £10 for providing you with the information. L

i think you will find its not that easy
the Labour Government past a law that allows us on request to see our records but they did not tell us that if you want to see all of your records, they have to wright to every consultant that has made comments on your records, asking them if they have any objections to you seeing what they wrote and then if they do they will remove any correspondence they have in your records from them and you will have to make a direct request to the consultant about seeing what he said and asking him why he does not want you to see it
all of witch will take a hell of a long time and a lot of money that you will have to pay.
so you will be better off if you know what it is you want and asking for that, rather than all of your records Tin-God

Good luck, how can you prove what the Doctor has on his notes? If I was him, I would not give any information that could be used against me. I really wish you the best in getting what you need, but Good Luck!! Neil D
