Do you feel it is wrong to have a imbargo against Cuba?
Before Fidel Castro cuba was being run by the Mafia mostly from Italy and America the leader at that time made millions of the Mafia and its casinos ,the cubans where left with little work and few options FIdel took over ,sure socialism has hurt alot of people and the country is poor but denying other countries to sale medical supplies and cars to cuba makes us look very bad.Are we wrong for allowing this to continue have we become the bullies and terrorist?

You seem to miss the point of why the embargo is in place.
The money, goods, etc sent over there with Fidel WILL NOT go to the people. They will be given to Fidel and his strongest allies. This is why we have embargos in place with nations such as Cuba (and North Korea).
It is not to hurt the innocent people because they will be hurt regardless.

No
I am craving a really good cigar!
I have to wait in between cruises to have one - sucks!
International waters - smoke em if you got em!
They made their point, its time to open up trade again. Castro is dying and on his way out and their economy could use a boost. Come on, let us have our Cubans!

I think the embargo against Cuba has outlived it’s usefulness…. We should allow full trade with them and flood them with all the crap we buy from China to make them think they cannot live without it… the Communist regime would crumble under the capatalist weight. Plus then I could get a decent cigar.

THE EMBARGO MAKES PERFECT SENSE….AND WHEN MEDICAL EMERGENCIES HAVE OCCURRED THE US HAS PERMITTED MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO FLOW INTO CUBA…BUT WHY SHOULD WE ASSIST ANY COUNTRY WHERE DISSIDENTS HAVE BEEN MURDERED BY THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT?

I think an imbargo is wrong and lifting the embargo would probably create a more liberal society friendly to the US.

Yes, I believe it’s wrong for the US to have such an embargo over any country. Remember, it was the good old USofA that put Fidel into power, and because he is a self thinking man and doesn’t kiss the @$$ of our leaders, we now turn against him, the same as with Saddam in Iraq, the same as with Iran, and Noriega in Columbia. It just seems like if we cannot ccontrol their way of thinking, we turn against them, Yes, we are the worlds worst bullies, and believe it or not, support and create terrorist.+
Also, when some mention “murder by their own government, remember “Waco” and “Ruby Ridge”, that sure wasn’t some foreign government that pulled that sorry stunt.

medical and humanity relief supplies are not banned in an embargo-Castro does not distribute them to the people-we been waiting for the common people to over throw Castro for years or the old fart to die
