Bree L asked: I am a nurse who cares for a Quadriplegic man. At present we are using a backpack to cart around all his goodies but we are in need of a quick response bag that opens up and has storage compartments for everything rather then rummaging around for what we need inside this backpack. Would anyone know where would be a good place to look for one of these as the only ones i could find online were for paramedics and rescue workers and prices were in excess of $200US. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

trebory6 asked: I’d like to get some EMPTY Blood Bags that they use to store and transport Blood in for Halloween. I want the REAL thing, not a prop. But I have no idea where to get them. I’ve tried everywhere from Hospitals to Blood Banks to Medical Supply stores.
I can’t seem to find out where I can just get a few, without paying $100 for 500 or something.
Any links to sites that sell them will be very helpful.
Thank you,
Rob

A lot of people are against Universal Health care in the U.S. because they fear that waiting lines would be very long. But I read that we currently have about 30% oversupply of physicians, medical equipment and supplies, while the demand is expected to raise by only 15%. =/

A friend of mine got this chair for me at an auction and the footrests were missing. This particular chair normally comes with the footrests so I’m having a hard time finding anywhere on-line that sells replacement footrests. I do have a local medical supply store trying to look for me as well. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions! Thanks

I work for a company that doesnt supply any of this. So I need to come up with this on my own, hence the inexpensive part. I am a husband & father of 3 so I would like to make sure they are well taken care of just incase. I would also like a good insurance for us.

P S asked: Medical prodecures, just in case i get hurt? For example, i could learn how to sew up a bad cut in case i get careless with my kitchen knives, ro learn how to set a cast in case i break my arm somehow.
Maybe this will force doctors to stop charging outrageous exhorbitant prices for basic procedures, because they’ll get competition from their own potential patients. And of course, more importantly, if they charged fair prices, more people could afford health insurance
Jessica, be nice.
If you can change your oil in your back yard at the horror and dismay of your mechanic, why can’t i put a few sootchers in my finger when my paring knife slipped?

My son’s doctor quit using the booklets, and have opted to just use print outs. I’m talking something straight out of a copy machine and signed off on. While, I plan on keeping those, I would also like to go ahead and buy one of the yellow booklets (like I had growing up) to keep track of things too. Anyone know where I could buy one online? A medical supply company maybe?
