RODMIL asked: I have a CDL from the state of California, and my medical card expired on 11-30-2009. My employer did not let me work, because they said that my medical card expired at 12:01 am on 11-30-2009. Can you please tell me what is the expiration time on my medical card, even though the card only states the expiration date.

Stacy Z asked: I know this person who cannot go out in the heat during the summer, otherwise it will make him faint. He doesn’t like to discuss this, but I would like to understand him a little better. Also, in his apartment during the summer he always has to have the air conditioner on or he will faint or have problems. What medical condition is this?

Mr. A asked: I’m a pre med student. But I don’t understand why Medical School admissions keeps on getting harder. Some 3,500 plus students applied for 40 slots at my school’s medical program. We have a dangerous shortage of doctors in this country and an obviously high supply of qualified students. But why does year after year admissions becomes more selective.
Someone please explain this to me. Thanks in advance.

Dr. Souldogs asked: I was charged $6000 for the actual procedure, about $500 for drugs, and a whopping $11,835 for “sterile supply”. It was a colonoscopy, during which some tissue was removed for pathology.
Why so much for clean instruments? (Not that I’d prefer them dirty….)

Matthew asked: I’m curious what medical supplies need to be kept at a temperature range much lower than room temperature. It would be beneficial to know what supplies should not be shaken as well.
I’m working on my senior design and I’m just looking for someone to point me in the right direction.
Thanks!

So Im a student, I already decided upon the Littman Cardiology III stethoscope. Now I need a otoscope/ophthalmology (like a 2 in one thing, not 2 separate parts!). Please recommend a good one, that is less than 300 please?
