I pay for half of everything from Medical, dental, and administrative school fees and school sports. I also have every other weekend and 2 weeks every summer with my daughter. Can she demand that I pay for school supplies even though I help pay for all these other things and provide a very good amount of child support? It just seems like it’s all about getting more money from me and when I don’t cough it up I get the whole story about being a good father.

My daughter’s deadbeat father is mad that I filed for child support and is being very uncooperative about supplying medical history information. Jerk refuses to respond. I really need to know if he has any allergies or illnesses that run in his family for my daughter’s complete medical history. Is there any way to force this information out of him or his doctor via the courts? TIA!

Here is the deal. Hubby has 2 daughters from previous marriage(11&12). Due to their mother damanding he gave her sole custody. He pays court ordered child support weekly. Was ordered to provide health care if available at reasonable cost. His daughters had Medicade up until recently when their mother got a job. Lost coverage. Dad put daughters on his health insurance (was recently changed by his employer and is within the reasonable limit set by the court). His ex called last night and told us to take them off the insurance because he is not allowed to supply insurance due to the fact that she has sole custody. NY state medicade told her this. How can this be if it is court ordered? They told her that she has to get insurance for the daughters. They said that by dad having them on his insurance it is a HIPPA violation because he doesnt have custody therefor isnt entitled to any of their information. PLEASE remember dad gave her sole custody on her request…. it was not TAKEN from him
