I have been receiving diabetics supplies from liberty medical for a few years now.I get a three month supply which cost me $36 dollars which medicare does not cover always with a zero balance.recently i closed my account to be able to save a few dollars.well a month later i get a bill for over $200 dollars.After calling and inquiring about it i was told it was a bill from 2007 which medicare did not cover.If i did not close the account i would have never known about a past due bill.Is it fair for liberty medical to charge me with a bill of 2 years or more i was never told about.I’m in louisiana is there any law that can protect me from that sort of practice.

I have done a little research about this online and everything I found, you had to have insurance or be on medicare. She has neither, and the test strips she needs cost $50 a pack. With the medications she is already paying for, it could create a hardship. Thanks for any advice you might have.

my dad just had surgery and we have to pack the wound and we are having a hard time finding help get supplies we are using a lot of glaze and 4×4 and wet pruf pads and tape and glove but we cant seem to get help anyone know where we might get some help
we have been doin it all on our own and we r runnin low on money and if we cant find help soon we r goin to have to send him to a nurseing home

My client has been taken off insulin,the doc says he no longer needs it.His home health care nurse has ALOT of clients on insulin who are very low income and on fixed income.Would it be okay for me (on behalf of my client) to give thse supplies to him to give to his less fortunate clients?Just
the syringes and testing strips;which are all still in the original sealed packages.The VA won’t take them back and I really feel bad just tossing them(after destroying the syringes)if someone who can not afford them could really use them.What do you think?The cost of these supplies is astronomical.

P.S. Already called several drug-rehab clinics and they said NO,they will
not accept them.

I REMEMBER SOME RELATIVES BUYING MEDICATION IN MEXICO BECAUSE IT IS CHEAPER BUT THEY ARE NO LONGER AROUND TO ASK. DOES ANYONE HAVE INFORMATION ABOUT HOW EASY IT IS TO DO AND WHERE I COULD PURCHASE IT ? I CURRENTLY USE HUMALOG AND LANTUS INSULINS, AND GABBAPENTIN 300MG, PLEASE HELP ANY INFORMATION IS APPRECIATED.
