		<description>The native americans used horsehair for many sewing purposes becuase of its long length, strength and durability. 

I don't see where if you were out in the middle of no where on horseback, that you would have a needle in order to pierce the skin. however if you did, you could certainly use horsehair to sew up an open wound.</description>

		<description>been done in a couple of movies, human hair too.  i think it was the movie "Old Yeller" I seen it in, when the mother went to a cave... to help someone or maybe it was the dog.  I can't remember who or what is was she helped... anyways.. just' know that i've seen it.</description>
