Can you donate unused/unopened medical supplies to hospitals?

If so thank you, if not how can I get rid of the excess medical supplies i have? I am on dialysis and have ordered too many supplies! I am drowning in them. I thought about throwing them away but that would be such a waste. Any suggestions from anybody?

Call your local hospital if they want any spare medical supplies, and say which ones they are to be more specific
