Justin asked: The American Medical Association has been lobbying to keep the supply of doctors low in America so that their salaries will stay inflated. Why aren’t liberals outraged by this behavior?
If the supply of doctors were increased, and many other restrictions lifted, it would lower the cost of medicine significantly.
More doctors = more healthcare = lower prices.

Mr. A asked: I’m a pre med student. But I don’t understand why Medical School admissions keeps on getting harder. Some 3,500 plus students applied for 40 slots at my school’s medical program. We have a dangerous shortage of doctors in this country and an obviously high supply of qualified students. But why does year after year admissions becomes more selective.
Someone please explain this to me. Thanks in advance.

Richard Dikhole asked: I do not have access to medical supplies, but I need to fill up a shot glass with some blood. It’s for a science project at UWM, and I have plenty of Neosporin and bandages for the wound.

Alex asked: I’m junior in high school now, and I’m looking at going at a medical field. Something in pharmacy to be specific. But, with 6 years of school, what can a medical student do for a job and make half-decent money while still having time to study?
After the first year of university, I’m planning leaving the dormitories and living back in the suburbs (the dorms I heard are iffy, and the university is downtown). So for five years I’d be taking the trains downtown.
Thanks for any answers!

red_grad asked: We are looking into life insurance. I am wondering what the medical exam and questions are like? How much more typically is it if you have a medical issue (like high blood pressure) compared to if you have good health? We are in our late 20’s.
I forgot to add, do they only ask your current health for the last 6 months to a year? Or is it your whole health history? I ask because let’s say the high blood pressure has been normal for the last 6 months to a year… will they still consider this in their pricing?

scolded soul asked: I have 20 yrs exp in dental billing and some experience in medical billing, how can I get more experience in medical billing. Most employers want at least two years of experience. I would be willing to start off part-time at reduced salary in order to gain the experience. Any suggestions?

Question asked: So I’ve been thinking about studying for a medical career, and I was wondering - what career requires the least amount of school? I know some medical careers require like- seven years of school, is there a career that can require four or less than four years of college?
