tfermagic asked: I’m trying to find a good, small, modern (i.e. with MOLLE attatchment strips) backpack to use as an assault/combat pack, that can hold basics and equipment (a change of clothes, some medical supplies, extra magazines, NVGs, poncho, and an MRE or two), preferably with a built-in hydration system.
Haven’t bought much tactical gear before, so I’ve no experience to work with for what brands are good, what models are good, etc.

shrugger asked: It boggles my mind. I was watching a news story about Tony Blair and his ambassador role for the quartet. The reference point of the story became the non-existant economy of Gaza and blame was placed on Israel for closing its borders, not the terrorist groups in Gaza that continually attack civilians. The Gaza strip also shares borders with Egypt, but their closed borders never make the nightly news. Why doesn’t Egypt share the “responsibility” for the diminishing terrorist economy of Gaza since it could open its borders without worry of being attacked? The strange thing is that Israel has tried to bring food, diapers and medical supplies into Gaza but at different times has been disallowed by the Hamas leadership. With Israel trying to offer humanitarian aide to its enemies and Egypt’s borders closed as well, I am baffled by the incessant media stories that talk about the collapsing economy of Gaza and it being Israel’s fault and not discussing other viable options. Thoughts?

trebory6 asked: I’d like to get some EMPTY Blood Bags that they use to store and transport Blood in for Halloween. I want the REAL thing, not a prop. But I have no idea where to get them. I’ve tried everywhere from Hospitals to Blood Banks to Medical Supply stores.
I can’t seem to find out where I can just get a few, without paying $100 for 500 or something.
Any links to sites that sell them will be very helpful.
Thank you,
Rob

Simon Templar asked: I’ve read about 50 million questions here about why this country or that country hates America. So what? Other countries have never loved us — except, of course, when we were smashing the dictators and madmen that Europe seems to embrace with maddening regularity.
Yeah, we *do* meddle in affairs overseas, because when we don’t, we wind up getting pulled into even *bigger* messes (like World Wars I and II)). But with all the hate coming from around the world, I’m beginning to think that we should have never involved ourselves in WWII — we should have let the Nazis and the Communists destroy Europe and then Asia, fortified ourselves over here, and let the rest of the world go to pot. In fact, I’m sort of getting to the point where I’d like to see us call all troops home, cut off all foreign aid and medical supplies, call in all debts, roll up the welcome mat, and stay home for the next century and let France and Canada pay the bills for a while.
I’m becoming more and more isolationist. We should stop sending other countries ANYTHING — stop meddling COMPLETELY — and send NOTHING overseas — no food, no medicine, no technology, no jobs, no foreign aid, NOTHING. Let’s keep it all here at home and build our own stockpiles of resources and supplies and to Hell with the rest of the world.
xemicangirl: Well, World War II wasn’t OUR mess — it was the result of hundreds of years of European greed, ignorance, brutality and bigotry. We could have just let them drown in it, and I’m beginning to think we should have.

Bawn Nyntyn Aytetu asked: I just heard about a case where a highschool girl in the US had a condition diagnosed by medical doctors that supplied her with paperwork to approve her use of smoking cigarettes in school, and I was wondering if anyone had heard of this case, and if there is any link you can provide that I can refer to regarding the condition she had and why she needed cigarettes for her very survival. Anyone?

Black man is god asked: I want to invest in stocks because this is a good time to buy low and the market will recover eventually. My question is this: Which market/sector should I invest in? The following are what I have heard about frequently: 1) Medical equipment and supply companies, however, will the prospect of universal health care make this a risky investment? 2) Discount stores such as Wal-Mart, Dollar General, etc. 3) Finally, which sector would be beneficial to take advantage of the huge number of baby boomers who will be retiring?
Thanks in advance everybody.

lb asked: I tried the THC test kit from walmart (crap) and it didn’t work. The daughter freaked out and broke anyway. The test showed negative. We bought the ones from a medical supply place, for like $1.50 each but never got to use them.
Anybody ever use them?
I figure this question might help the parents bust their kids.

LoSt In HoPe asked: I’m not trying to become an EMT or something like that. I’m looking to drive an ambulance for a non-commercial purpose (i.e. it’ll be my daily driver to and from work/school) and will not haul patients or carry medical supplies. Do I need a special license or CDL?
