the underwear has no pocket or pouch and comes from north shore medical supply store . its for incontinance . is it suposed to be used like a diaper or can i leave out the pads ?

Or better yet, just build a network of non-profit hospitals that will accept any type of insurance?

What I am asking is that the simple solution is to simply say that hospitals can not charge you a certain percentage over the amount of what a drug or medical supply would cost above its retail cost. Would that seem like the most logical solution to the whole mess?

The AMA has been running the medical monopoly in America for over 100 years. This group has been keeping the supply of doctors low in order to ensure that doctors are paid hefty salaries.

If Liberals really wanted to “free up” our healthcare system, wouldn’t it make more sense to bust up this monopoly and allow more freedom in the area of doctor licensing?

Sophie B - I am currently in medical school. The AMA sets limits on the number of students a medical school can accept. You also cannot apply for medical school unless you go through the AMA’s application service, which costs hundreds to thousands of dollars to use.

I pay for half of everything from Medical, dental, and administrative school fees and school sports. I also have every other weekend and 2 weeks every summer with my daughter. Can she demand that I pay for school supplies even though I help pay for all these other things and provide a very good amount of child support? How do you kill the big zombie thing that you see in the infirmary after you pick up the medical supplies kit? I tried shooting and throwing grenades at it but nothing seems to work. Thanks for your help!

The problem with rising medical costs seems to be the consumer only pays a dollar for every five dollar increase when they have insurance. Why not bring free market supply and demand back where people won’t go to doctors who charge more than their services are worth?

Here’s where I get confused - When you go to the doctor - not only are you being charged for thier time, but you are being charged for the things that they use - tongue depressors, cotton balls, tweezers, paper on the beds - ect. So considering cotton balls for the doctor’s office cost 200 times more than those that the store - don’t medical supply companies have some responsibility in the costs going up - After all they do get passed on to the consumer. Some how things like this remind me of the Reagan years when the govt spent $700 for a hammer.

My client has been taken off insulin,the doc says he no longer needs it.His home health care nurse has ALOT of clients on insulin who are very low income and on fixed income.Would it be okay for me (on behalf of my client) to give thse supplies to him to give to his less fortunate clients?Just
the syringes and testing strips;which are all still in the original sealed packages.The VA won’t take them back and I really feel bad just tossing them(after destroying the syringes)if someone who can not afford them could really use them.What do you think?The cost of these supplies is astronomical.

P.S. Already called several drug-rehab clinics and they said NO,they will
not accept them.
