Dru asked:
What’s a good book or resource on the intricacies of troop mobilization? Obviously they have to be mobilized locally, regionally, and nationally. But how many carriers of what kind to move what number of troops where with how much fuel? They have to eat, have medical supplies, support personnel, etc. How do I find this out?

mr.jeef asked: I’m not familiar with doctors whatsoever, but I was wondering how private or concierge doctors get their supplies, equipment, machines, drugs, and all that. Isn’t there insurance issues? Companies can’t just give supplies like these to anyone?
If it’s the same as a regular doctor then I guess I don’t know how they do it really..
Thanks

This is my second post on a similar subject, but my employer cancelled my insurance without my knowledge saying “Due to non-payment”. Now I have the canceled checks that show I paid my premiums well past their date that they said they did not recieve payment. I continued to use my insurance for almost 2 months before I was told that it was “CANCELED”!! Now this is huge billion dollar corporation I work for that makes medical supplies. I tell you I have been screwed twice now, being fired before my release back to work and having my insurance canceled. Well I have been screwed 3 times, but in this post I am listing only the 2. Thank you for your replies, they are greatly appreciated more than you know. I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone here. Just getting the surgery was a 1.5 year battle until I switched primary Drs. and she read my records and called my Gastro Dr. and I had surgery less than a week later, after being told I could have died because it was so bad. Now all of this is just icing on the cake of my dilemma’s. Thanks again everybody!

My husband has been in almost 3 years. He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes nov 08. he was a firefighter for them then has now been placed at a desk job. He recieved his MEB results and they only offered him 20% disability so he is now going to texas toappeal and fight for more to get at least medical benifits bc there is no way we could afford his medical supplies. my question is, what restrictions or things may likely get him more disability? his dr. is going to write a letter so we want to know what is going help us out the most.

I work at a medical supply place and accidently gave a patient too many items, I have tried continously to contact the patient but she will not pick up, we’ve sent drivers out to her house to collect the items but she refuses to give them up and says she never got a call from us nor got a voicemail message. My employer says they will deduct this from my check, is that possible without my permission?
